Choosing the right substrate for your reptile is very much a personal choice as it is very difficult to replicate your reptile’s natural living conditions in the wild.

At Surrey Reptile Centre we are happy to advise what we believe are the right substrate for your specific reptile. We will take into consideration it’s natural habitat, whether it burrows or climbs, and where and how it feeds.

We believe the two best brands available in the UK are HabiStat and ProRep and we stock the various types of substrates they sell; however, if you have another brand you prefer we would be happy to supply this for you.

At the Surrey Reptile Centre we understand that everyone has a different set-up for their reptiles and need different types of replacement lighting and heating elements. This is why we stock a large selection of reptile lighting products, including:
